My Everyday Makeup Routine

I go through phases with makeup. I can go months wearing a full face with glittery lids and eyelashes, and the next day I want as minimal products on my face as possible. I have been loving this routine and all the products in them. I highly recommend them!

Prep: Jack Black Lip Balm

This is the BEST lip balm I have ever used. It keeps my lips moisturized and I have noticed it has also helped reduce the appearance of fine lines on my lips. I prefer lip balms with a matte finish (not glossy) and this is just that. It also has spf 25 which is always a plus. I choose the natural mint one because I love the scent and the tingling feeling on my lips but it comes in five scents so there is something for everyone.

Primer: Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer

I have combination type skin so its really hard to find primers that work just right for my skin. This primer is amazing. It keeps my t – zone matte and doesn’t dry out the rest of my skin. It does really hide pores perfectly! As well as reducing the appearance of textured skin, and its only $18.

Concealer: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I have been skipping foundation and spot concealing instead. I usually conceal any dark acne scars that I have and under my eyes. I blend it in with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.  This concealer is medium to full coverage but it is not cakey and it leaves my face very luminous. I am in the shade Ginger.

Setting: Kat Von D Lock it Setting Powder

I love this translucent powder it sets my concealer in place all day, and keeps me matte. I use a translucent powder because I don’t want to add anymore color or coverage to my face. Also Kat Von D has the cutest packing which is always a plus. I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush, which is actually huge so I use it for powder. I honestly love Real Techniques brushes they are my favorite brand for brushes.

Contouring: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer

I have yet to find the perfect contouring powder for my skin. I got this cute mini Hoola bronzer in a 500 point Sephora rewards box. I love to lightly contour and bronze with it. Its definitely one of the better bronzers I’ve tried. I like the color and it doesn’t look muddy. I apply it with a Luxie 512 Small Contouring Brush.

Eyebrows: L’Oreal Brow Plumper

I love this product! It saves me a lot of time because it slightly fills in my brows and sets them all in one product. I have fuller brows so it hard to find a good setting gel that keeps all my little hairs in place. This product is like hair spray for your brows. It also lasts you a very long time, I have had mine for a while even the writing on it has worn off. I also appreciate how small the wand is. I use the shade medium to dark.

Eyelashes: Lash Paradise Mascara

If I could pick one product to use for the rest of my life it would be mascara. I feel like it truly makes me look like I have a full face when I only wear mascara. I really like this mascara, it one of the best ones from the drugstore. I’ve used both high-end and drugstore but I have to say I prefer drugstore mascaras. This mascara gives amazing volume and makes my lashes extra long. I also like that it separates my lashes. This is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Lips: E.L.F Beautifully Bare Satin Lipstick

Out of ALL my lip products this is the lippie I have been gravitating towards. It is a Elf lipstick in the shade “Touch of Berry”. Its natural berry, pinky shade. Its moisturizing and pigmented. I love the way this looks on. It is very well loved as you can see the label is coming off.
